This 2023 / 2024 FIE foil blade comes in size 5 and has a blade cut meant for a pistol grip. It is of a superior quality suitable for beginners and necessary for experienced fencers. The constituency of the blade material prevents it from rusting for a long period of time compared to a non-FIE blade. This is a very important consideration for fencers living in a country with a humid climate. In addition, it is more durable and generally has a longer lifespan compared to non-FIE blades.
