This 2023 / 2024 FIE foil comes with a size 5 blade. It is of superior quality, suitable for beginners, and necessary for experienced fencers. The constituency of the blade material and the blue coating prevents it from rusting for a long time in comparison with a non-FIE blade. This is a very important consideration for fencers living in a country with a humid climate. In addition, this FIE foil blade is more durable and generally has a longer lifespan compared to non-FIE blades.
Please note that there is no guarantee on the lifespan of blades. It all depends on how the blade is used by the fencer both in training and in fencing.
